We had a wonderful stay here. The house is beautifully renovated, spacious, spotless, and exactly as shown in the photos. It combines modern comfort with plenty of charm and character, and the peaceful village setting made it feel like a true retreat. The hot tub was one of the highlights of our stay—private, relaxing, and ready when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our four days at this beautiful spot! It’s conveniently located near Reims and the Champagne region, and a bit further—but still easily accessible—from Paris. And after a long day, it was wonderful to relax in the hot tub on the patio, followed by fresh croissants from the bakery the next morning. The owner was very friendly. A very nice, clean, and modern place that retains its charm. Very quiet—perfect for a family getaway for a weekend or longer. We had a pleasant, peaceful stay. The barn is very well laid out, and the bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are very comfortable, as is the bedding. Gorgeous 😀 - The tranquility, the charm of the barn, the decor—everything is thoughtfully designed. The living area downstairs is simple and spacious. The outdoor area with the Nordic hot tub is just perfect. The bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and toilet, are spacious. "La Grange" is a true little haven of peace, located in a very quiet village just a few minutes' drive from Laon. The hot tub is a real bonus! The free parking nearby is also super convenient. We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb near Laon. Julien was kind enough to pick me up at the train station on the first day and was happy to let us check out late on the last day. The place has everything you need for a short stay—and the hot tub was a real bonus! A perfect getaway weekend – well-deserved 5 stars"La Grange" truly lives up to its name: it’s the best place we’ve ever stayed. Just 40 minutes from home, we were looking for a place to take a break from the daily grind, and this cottage was a true haven of relaxation. We spent two nights there in January—pure bliss despite a rainy weekend. The place is spacious, tastefully decorated, and exudes a genuine sense of well-being. The small massage chair, the Bluetooth speaker, and the underfloor heating (a real treat in winter, especially after a Nordic bath!) are all details that make the experience truly enjoyable.Among the features we particularly appreciated: the presence of two toilets, one of which is upstairs, and the bathroom right inside the bedroom, which offers real comfort. And above all, the Nordic bath, perfectly heated and very comfortable, was one of our favorite moments.We do have a few small suggestions to make the experience even more perfect: When we arrived in the rain, we would have liked to enjoy the Nordic bath on the first evening, but the pergola with the retractable roof was dislodged, which didn’t provide proper shelter. Fortunately, the weather improved the next day. I hope this has been repaired since then.A soundbar in the bedroom would be a real plus to improve the TV’s audio quality, especially for audio enthusiasts like us. The bed was adequate, but we expected a bit more comfort given the overall standard of the place. Finally, in winter weather, providing slippers (or letting guests know to bring their own) would be a thoughtful touch when stepping out of the Nordic bath.The owner is very responsive in our communications, even though he couldn’t come out to address the pergola issue. We’ve already planned to return soon for another weekend getaway—that’s how much we loved it. This place is truly the result of a superb renovation, combining charm, comfort, and a chance to unwind.
